An Aga, Esse or Everhot?

We now offer three iconic range cookers to choose from - Esse, Everhot and Aga Cookers.

With the amount of information available and different functions on each, it can be slightly overwhelming trying to pick a favourite! So we're here to help simplify it for you.

The Aga Cooker

Perfect for those looking for an "AGA" branded cooker at a lower price point. Every Aga Cooker is unique, with character and years of memories behind it.

Available sizes

987mm or 1487mm.

Models and Fuels

Traditional Oil and Gas models are no longer made and are only available as refurbished stock. Our Electric Converted models are by far the most popular, due to the lower running costs and increased flexibility when comparing to traditional models. All models arrive in pieces and are assembled onsite.

Heat up Times

Heat up times vary from model and fuel, but they can be as quick as 50 minutes, or as long as 7 hours.

Materials

Our refurbished models use castings from the original coalbrookdale foundry here in the UK - from the 2010's all the way back to the 1940's. All models come with two insulating domes over each hotplate. On our converted models, you can upgrade the left hand hotplate to induction or a circular halogen hob.

Element PlacementS

The electric elements in our popular controllable conversions sit on top and below the cast iron ovens. As with all Aga Cookers, you might need to turn food half way through cooking to get even results.

Colours and Coatings

They are coated in new Vitreous Enamel in your chosen colour. We have over 50 shades to choose from. Vitreous Enamel is hard-wearing but you have to be weary of chips from any impact, and stains from acidic foods or incorrect cleaning products.

Prices

Our refurbished models with ElectricKit Advanced start from £7601.00

The Esse Cooker

Ideal for foodies, and those looking for fast heat up times and optional ambient heat to the room.

Available sizes

600mm, 1000mm or 1600mm.

Models and Fuels

The electric range is the most popular, due to its flexibility, but there is a wood-fired range for those off-grid scenarios. All models are built at the factory and delivered in one-piece.

Heat Up Times

Heat up times for their electric models are as quick as 15 minutes, up to 60 minutes if stone cold.

Materials

The front/top and ovens are thick mild steel, to store the heat and radiate it over time. The doors are cast iron, from a UK foundry. The 1000 and 1600 T and X models have induction hobs included as standard, alongside a cast iron hotplate.

Element Placements

The oven elements are a patented design, unique to Esse. They wrap around the whole oven for even radiant-heat cooking and are absolutely perfect for baking. We've heard from customers that it's the best cooking experience in any traditional range.

Colours and Coatings

The front, doors and top are all powder coated and are available in a choice of 10 colours. Powder coating is great for durability, easy cleaning and perfect colour matching of parts.

Prices

The Esse 600 models start from £6500 and 1000 models start at £10,465.

The Everhot Cooker

Perfectly suited for those who are making use of Solar power, or with an emphasis on low running costs but 'always on' operation.

Available sizes

600mm, 900mm, 1000mm 1100mm, 120mm, 1500mm or 1600mm.

Models and Fuels

Everhots are known to be efficient and are all electric. All models are built at the factory and delivered in one-piece, although some can be assembled onsite for those hard-to-reach areas!

Heat Up Times

They're designed to be 'always on' (or forever hot!). Their oven heat up times are around 1-2hrs from cold but the integrated grill can be used to speed up the top oven heat up time to around 20 minutes.

Materials

Similar to the Esse, the top, front and ovens are thick steel, and the ovens have a stainless steel floor plate to prevent rusting. The oven doors are cast iron as well as the square cast iron plates. Most models have induction included as standard.

Element Placements

The hob elements are located under the cash iron hotplates and the oven elements are in the floor of the ovens. If your oven is always on and saturated with heat, the direction of the heat will come from all sides. If your heating up from cold, or boosting in temperature, be mindful of the element placements.

Colours and Coatings

The front, doors and top are all powder coated and are available in 20 colours. Again, powder coating is great for durability, easy cleaning and perfect colour matching of parts.

Prices

The Everhot 60 starts from £7700, and the popular 120i is £13,500.
