What's an 'ElectricKit Conversion'?

The ElectricKit System uses electrical elements strategically placed around the ovens, to massively improve traditional aga cooker heat up times and provide temperature controllability of each oven. There's also one electric element inside each hotplate, to make them fully independent and controllable.

Some benefits of having an Aga Cooker with ElectricKit include:

• Vastly improved heat up times vs traditional aga cookers.
• Much lower running costs compared to other electric models.
• No loss of heat inside the ovens when you use the hotplates.
• Ability to have only one oven on when needed.
• Temperature of each oven and hotplate is user-set. No restrictive pre-set modes.
• Temperature readouts for the Roasting Oven - current and target temp.

High-Power Induction Hob

Choose to upgrade your ElectricKit Cooker with an integrated induction hob, replacing the standard left-hand solid hotplate.

ElectricKit induction hobs are available in either 1.6kW or an even more powerful 3kW unit. The 1.6kW induction is recommended, as it utilises the existing connections inside the cooker, rather than requiring additional plug sockets nearby.

Neatly concealed underneath the left hand insulating dome, the induction hob gives you instant modern technology, inside the traditional aga range cooker.

The controls are located directly on the hob surface, so there's no need to open control doors or bend down to adjust the temperature.



Resilient and Reliable

The Electric Conversion uses elements and thermostats or thermocouples. This is the same base technology they have used over the past 10+ years - meaning their reliability is second to none. Each version they release goes through a tedious testing and prototype process, to ensure teething problems are worked out long before release to the public.

With the introduction of the automatic hob temperature feature on the 'Advanced" ElectricKit System, potential repairs or failures are vastly reduced.

The oven and hotplate elements are solid in their construction, and made by industry specialists in Britain.

Advanced Timer Fuction

Your ElectricKit Advanced System comes with an integrated timer function built-in. A basic version is also available as an optional extra for the Classic Systems.

The timer gives you control over your ovens. You can automatically schedule your ovens to turn on and get to temperature whenver you need it. You can also control them remotely and adjust the oven temperature via an app on your phone.

Looking to run your cooker more efficiently? Automatically schedule the aga cooker to turn on and off, and at different temperatures, using the scheduling function.

A good example of timer use, is the below. You can choose different settings, temperature and schedules, to suit your lifestyle:

• Top oven timed to switch on and reach 180c for breakfast @ 7am, for 2 hours.
• Top oven either turns off completely, or settles to a lower 'rest' temperature.
• All ovens can remain off (or at rest) all day, as the induction hob can be used for lunch.
• Top oven and bottom oven both turn on and reach 220c/140c respectively for evening meal @ 6pm.
• Both ovens automatically drop/rise to 180c and stay on overnight to dry washing and radiate heat gently into the room. On weekdays, they can automatically turn off completely overnight, to save on running costs.
