Esse Models & Sizes
The Esse Range Cooker is an absolutely beautiful piece of hand-crafted design.
Their slimline product cataloge has all the wants and needs covered - from the standard 1000T, with its traditional-looking chrome domes and huge ovens, to the smaller 600X series, which can slot into the smallest of spaces without compromising on the famous 'Esse cooking'.
The T models have round domed lids with one cast iron and one circular induction hob as standard.
The X models have larger square 'bolster' lids, with one cast iron hotplate, surrounded by additional cast plate, as well as a larger 3-zone induction hob.
All top ovens on an Esse have an integrated grill inside.
The Esse 600
from £6825.00
Designed to provide the option of exceptional "Esse" food, for those with smaller kitchens.
The Esse 600 has two ovens, with one cast iron hotplate. The controls are located externally, with manual dials for the hotplate, top oven grill, top oven temperature and the bottom oven temperature. There's no integrated timer control for the 600 models.
The T-PRO and X-PRO models have two large ovens, whereas the standard models have one large top oven and one smaller bottom oven.
600T Model
- Two controllable ovens.
- Both ovens are large capacity (PRO models).
- Top oven max 240c, Bottom oven max 200c.
- Integrated grill inside the top oven.
- External control box to sit inside a cupboard, or on the worktop.
- One circular cast iron hotplate under the domed lid.
- Two steam vents to control each oven.
- 1 x 13amp plug socket required.
The 600X model is the same as above, but with the large square bolster lid and additional cast iron conduction plates surrounding the hotplate.

The Esse 1000

These are Esse's most popular range. Fitting into a 1m wide space, it packs a lot of features inside. The control panel is located behind the top left hand door, which has the iconic ESSE brand stamped straight into the cast iron. Designed to be left on slumber in-between cooking, and boosted to temperature whenever needed.
1000T Model

The Esse 1000W

Perfect for those off-grid, the 1000W is designed to run from wood and provide a traditional range cooker feel.
The 1000W has patented catalytic converter technology, which means it only emits 0.04 CO emissions.
The lids are domed and are available in either a chrome or blasted cast iron finish.
1000X Model
- Three temperature controlled ovens.
- Normal running - top oven 200c, Bottom right oven 140c, Bottom left oven 250c.
- "Dog Bone" shaped hotplate, with gradual temperature variation.
- No electrics needed.
- Glass firebox viewing window.
- Ability to run domestic hot water.

The Esse 1600

The big boy in the Esse range, the 1600 has huge capabilities for the most seasoned of chefs.
This model is made up from 1 x 1000 model, with a 600 model attached to the left hand side.
The cooker arrives in two pieces that are joined up onsite. The controls are all located behind the middle top door.
Available in two main models, the T and the X, with a further choice of standard or 'PRO' ovens. All of the ovens on the PRO model are equally as large as the top ovens - the temperatures and features are the same as the standard X and T models.
