Choosing a Saltire Cookers Refurbished Aga Cooker is the perfect choice if you are conscious about the environment, but are looking for all of the positives of owning an Aga Cooker.

When our Refurbished Aga Cookers were first made by AGA Rangemaster, in the Coalbrookdale Foundry, they were comprised of up to 70% recycled cast ion - mainly from old cast iron gear boxes, lamp posts and more.


After a lifetime of use, they come into our workshop to be restored by hand. Once they are showroom-quality, they're ready to be used for another lifetime of memories and amazing food. There's not many conventional cookers that can say they are over 60 years old and still thriving!


The forging of cast iron is quite an energy intense and expensive process, which is why we restore the original, robust, british-made, and reliable cast iron.


Not only are you saving the carbon produced when casting new iron, you're also saving on cost. Since we don't rely on huge foundries or the expensive casting process, we can sell our aga cookers for thousands of pounds less than new models.

How Efficient Are Your Aga Cookers?

Our cookers are all insulated with the best insulation on the market. Times have changed since the traditional aga cookers were in production - better insulation and techniques have been found.


We integrate these into our reconditioned models, allowing for efficiency, with traditional aga cooker benefits.


We also offer a choice of efficient controllable systems inside. By turning the ovens or hotplates on/off or up/down, you can save huge amounts on your monthly running costs, as well as being a bit kinder to the environment.
